  3. Submit Payment Request Form (PRF) – Once approved, complete the PRF to begin the payment process.

  4. Receive Funds – Approved funds are typically received 4–6 weeks after submission of the PRF. Plan accordingly.

  5. Execute the Event & Collect Photos – Host your event and take photos/videos for documentation.

  6. Submit Recap & Receipts – Within one week of the event, submit your recap, receipts, and metrics to ensure compliance and recognition.

Grant Process & Funding

Funding for TPUSA RISE NextGen Chapter events is available through the official Grant Request Form (GRF) process. Only Chapter Presidents can submit grant requests.

Grant Request Guidelines

Requests must match the approved event types listed in the Event Framework. The maximum funding amount for each event is listed on its How-To Guide.

If additional funds are needed, the Campus President must obtain approval from their Regional Lead. All expenses—including food, supplies, and travel—should be included in the initial request.

Grant Request Example:

Example Description: “RISE NextGen - Howard University is hosting a RISE Speaker event on entrepreneurship and requests funds for refreshments, travel expenses, and venue fees. We also need funds for printed materials and decorations for the event space.”

After the event, chapters must submit a recap form that includes:

  • 10 photos (including 1 group shot).

  • 1 short video of event activity or participants.

  • Receipts and Event Metrics.

Failure to submit documentation can result in chapter probation.
